yesterday was lucas's check up after birth and he was 5 days old. here are his stats:
weight 6lbs14oz (17th percentile) - up from 6lb8oz at hospital discharge
length 20" (49th)
head circumference 14 1/2" (62nd)
he's going great, pooping, eating and sleeping like a newborn. the doc gave me vitamin drops for him since he's BF. she never gave these for emma so i don't know if it's a shift of thinking in 2 1/2 years or what. also she recommended each of us (the 3 of us excluding lucas) gets the flu shot. she told us the vaccine was limited at her office but made sure the receptionist made emma an appointment since we have a newborn. he's doing great!
